When I went to lunch today, I noticed an old man sitting on a park bench sobbing his eyes out.  I stopped and asked him what was wrong.He told me, 'I have a 22 year old wife at home. She rubs my back every morning and then gets up and makes me pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit and freshly ground coffee.'I continued, 'Well, then why are you crying?'He added, 'She makes me homemade soup for lunch and my favourite biscuits, cleans the house and then watches sports TV with me for the rest of the afternoon.'I said, 'Well, why are you crying?'He said, 'For dinner she makes me a gourmet meal with wine and my favourite dessert and then we cuddle until the small hours.'I inquired, 'Well then, why in the world would you be crying?'He replied, 'I can't remember where I live.'

Statue of Ataturk on the Main Square in Marmaris I was fortunate enough to go on holiday to Turkey last year. We went to Marmaris on the Turkish Riviera. It's a lovely place for a holiday and very relaxing. So relaxing that I actually found time to learn some ritual. Something I've always said I was going to do on holiday, but never actually achieved. I'm not an expert on Turkish history, but I had heard of Kemal Atatürk. I became a lot more interested in him when I came across this statue of him on the main square. When I looked into his life to find out what prompted the statue, I discovered that he is an inspiration to us all. Day 2

Well what funny times we find ourselves in. I've gone from being really busy, travelling here, there and everywhere, to having a clear diary. The only things left to do are from my wife's "wish list" and I'm running out of excuses fast! With Freemasonry suspended, my inbox is pretty empty, well when I say pretty empty, I mean completely empty. We've done our best to keep the West Wales website up to date with the latest Government Guidance, but I am sure that we're all sitting at home watching the television, so no one is short of guidance, quite the reverse. All we have to do is make sure we follow it and keep our fingers crossed that the situation improves. We haven't made any firm decisions about when and where to reschedule the events which we have had to postpone. I think the time for that will be when the situation is a bit clearer.
