Dr John B Lloyd Bursary - Day 1
The Late Dr John Benjamin Lloyd - Past Provincial Grand Master |
The Dr John B Lloyd Bursary is given annually by the Provincial Grand Charity of the Masonic Province of West Wales to encourage worthy students to further their education. The Award was first presented in 2000 and it has been presented in October every year since then.
The award has been coordinated since the beginning by Dr Mina C.G.Davies Morel, PhD, Reg.Anim.Sci. SFHEA. The recipient is selected from applications submited by eligible Post Graduate Students and has traditionally been presented by the Ruler Presiding at the Saint Padarn Lodge Installation which is generally a convenient date for all concerned.
In 2017, Dr Morel very kindly put togther a summary of all the recipients of the Award and what they went on to do after they finished their studies. I thought it would be nice to publish the details over the next few days. There are some lovely photos which include some of our friends who are sadly no longer with us. Sadly the photos don't start until 2007.
