Fishguard Flower Festival 2013

This was a lovely event a few years ago. At the time we only published a couple of photos, but there were loads taken, so I have turned them in to a little film set to music.

The 2013 Fishguard Flower and Craft Festival was organised by Kemes Lodge 3152 and was held in July in the Masonic Hall Fishguard.

Floral arrangements were provided by various clubs in Fishguard including the Lions, Rotary’ WI, Soroptomists, North Pembrokeshire Flower Club, Fishguard and Goodwick Town Council and various individuals.

The local history society provided an extensive gallery of historic photographs.
Local artists and craftsmen exhibited over 100 displays.

The Lodge room provided a unique display area for over 100 displays of patch work and quilting by local residents and there were practical demonstrations of lace making and quilting.

The Goodwick brass band gave an afternoon concert outside the Masonic hall. United Grand Lodge provided information on donations to non Masonic charities. Refreshments were provided by family and friends of the Kemes and Strumble Lodges. The Festival was well attended by Lodge members their families and the local community and raised £1850 for the 2015 Festival.

The Worshipful Master of Kemes Lodge W Bro Robert Smith thanks all who made this Festival such a great community event.
